About Christianne Farfar
Some entries show the mother of Christianne Farfar Keith to be Johanna Barton. This is in error. Christianne's mother is unknown. Her father William Farfar married the widow Johanna Barton after 1688. Christianne was born in 1681. Therefore Johanna Barton cannot have been the mother of Christianne. Johanna Barton was married to Lewis Barton before his death c 1688-1693. The Bartons first appeared in Baltimore records in 1682. After her marriage to William Farfar, Johanna died after Feb 1709 and William Farfar married a third time to the widow Eleanor Harriman after 1711.
