About Christina Catharina Beukes

Any prove that this lady is indeed the daughter of Charl Prieur du Plessis and Cecelia van Marseveen?
Biography

Catharina "Christina" VAN EMMENES b. 7 Feb 1723/ d. c1799

She was the illegitimate child of Cornelia Van Immenes:

Throughout the family history records she is shown as the child of Carel du Plessis and Cecilia van Maarseveen and born 1712: This contradicts the baptism record.

At this time we can only speculate as to the identity of the father. If we look at the names of her children it could be that her father was Gerrit du Plessis or she could have named her one son after her grandfather.

She used du Plessis as her surname when she got married and she was mentioned as du Plessis in her mother's liquidation and distribution records. als haar laast te noemene voor haar trouwen in onegt geprocreEertkind ... Catharina du Plessis getrouwt met Hendrik Beukes.[1][2]
