Christina Echols (Braun/Brown)

Christina Braun, daughter of Johann Michael and Margareta Caterina Shamback Braun (Brown), granddaughter of Johann Stephan Christian and Maria Eva Hamen Braun, was born about 1760 in Rowan County, North Carolina, and died in Giles County, Virginia. She married John F. Echols abt. 1780/81 in Rowan County, North Carolina, son of Jacob Echols and Elizabeth Miller. He was born on 06 May 1760 in Pennsylvania and died before August 1828 in Giles County, Virginia.

John Echolds appoints son Peter Echolds attorney to sue, recover and collect money due him (John) because Christina Echolds, his wife holds part of estate of her father, Michael Brown, deceased, of Rowan County, North Carolina. Witness John Brown, Henry Price.
