RITTMAN -- Chris Ferguson, 55, of Rittman, died unexpectedly Sunday, May 21, 2017, at Knox Community Hospital.
She was born Nov. 11, 1961, in Orrville to Tom and Bonnie (Howell) Faber and graduated from Rittman High School in the class 1980.
She was a life resident of Rittman, and was owner/operator of Barlett-Cook Flower Shop in Wadsworth. She married Tom Ferguson on July 2, 2005. He survives.
Chris attended Rittman Community Free Will Baptist Church and enjoyed camping, crafts, refinishing furniture and decorating. Most of all she loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren and her dog, Molly.
She will be remembered for her caring and generous spirit and her commitment to giving to others in need.
Surviving in addition to her husband, are a son, Michael Hamrick of Rittman, and a daughter, Ashley Hamrick of Rittman; a stepson, Thomas Ferguson of Lakeville, and a stepdaughter, Amy (Matthew) Hutton of Rittman; grandchildren, Evelynn, Emily, Avery, Leigha and Abbigail; her parents of Rittman; a brother, David (Ann Marie) Faber of Wadsworth; and a sister, Beverly Faber of Rittman.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Roy and Helen Faber and Nelson and Mary Howell.
Services will be Friday, May 26 at 11 a.m. at Auble-Gillman Funeral Home, 360 W. Sunset Drive, Rittman, with the Rev. John W. Castle officiating.
