About Christoph Gaugh
Probably the son of Christoph Gag (Gough, Gapp, Gaugh), b. Jan. 26, 1728 in Württemberg, d. Oct. 18, 1781 Frederick Co. Md., who died leaving 4 sons and 3 daughters, married his surving widow in 1759, and had twin daughters, Anna Maria and Anna Barbara (b. May 9, 1749) with his wife Anna Maria; he signed the Muhlenberg Declaration (Frederick Co.) in 1747. But a Phillipus Gag and wife Philippina were also in Frederick Co. in 1757.
On 8/18/1777 "Christopher Gough" (Gag) bought 35.75 acres in the Den of Wolves (Frederick Co.).
