About Christopher King Fitzgerald
Christopher Fitzgerald married Elizabeth Douglas and together they are believed to have had at least seven children: James, Sarah (who married John Fields), Nathaniel, John, Nancy (who married George Shelton), Mary (Polly) (who married Andrew Culverson), and Thomas.
By about 1790 Christopher and his family had arrived in Maury County, Tennessee. He and Elizabeth continued to raise their family there.
Christopher died in about 1829 in Maury Co, Tenn., but it is not known where his body was buried.
