As published in the "Borger News Herald", Sunday,June 1, 1980;Services for Mrs. Clara Emma Carpenter, 82, of 913 Juniper, are pending with Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors. Mrs. Carpenter died at 7 A.M. Saturday in Highland General Hospital in Pampa. A native of Bonham, she had been a Borger resident for 14 years. Mrs. Carpenter was a member of the Jehovah's Witness Congregation. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. R.E. (Daisy) Gregg and Mrs. Raymond (Edith) Cagle, both of Borger; Mrs. Vance (Florene) Biddy of Sunland, Calif.; Two sons Frank of Dumas; and Robert of Sunland, Calif.; three borthers, Bill Whittemore of Montrose, Calif.;Fred Whittemore of Oklahoma City; Albert Whittemore of Downey, Calif.; Miss Esta Mae Whittemore of Blair, Okla.; and Mrs. Lou Crane of Upland, Calif. The family will be at 1002 S. McGee.
