About Clara Kanoy
Clara G. Kanoy, 86, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2014 at Moses Cone Hospital.
Clara was born on October 1, 1927 in Guilford County, the daughter of Andrew and Anna Glass. She loved to fish and play bingo and was an avid "Wolf Pack "fan. She was a loving wife and mother and she will be deeply missed.
Clara is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, William A. Kanoy Jr.; sons, Ray Kanoy and wife Sherry of Raleigh, NC and Walter Kanoy and wife Sandra of Greensboro, NC; and her special "four legged " friend, Andrew. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 24, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel with burial to follow at Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel.
