She learned how to cook and bake from her sister-in-law Faiga Simmens.
Her specialty dinners were brisket, veal cutlets, baked chicken & salmon croquets.
Everything she made was Kosher.
Her specialty bake goods were streudel, honey cake, hamantashen, cherry and apple pies, sponge cake.
Her potato and cheese knishes were unmatched.
Wow, was she a great cook, baker and hostess. Everyone loved to come to our house for parties and holiday celebrations.
We always had a jar full of cookies that she made every Friday.
