Mr. Beasley, 80, died at his residence. He had retired from the Coca-Cola plant as a refrigeration mechanic after 35 years. He was a member of Sylvania Heights Baptist Church and enjoyed collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia. He was survived by his wife, a son, a sister, two brothers, a grandson, and two great-grandchildren. His funeral was to have been held Sunday, Feb. 3, 2002 at Covenant Funeral Service with burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
