Mr. Beazley, 75, a carpenter and lifelong resident of Milford, died at Mary Washington Hospital. The son of Virgie Taylor and Alex Beasley, he was twice married.
His first wife was the former Miss Josephine Chandler who died in 1901. Surviving this marriage were two daughters, Mrs. Mary Pryor, of Washington, and Mrs. Bessie Kanary, of Richmond, and a son, Charles Beasley, of Milford.
His second wife was the former Miss Mary Farmer who died in 1939. Surviving the second marriage were two daughters, Mrs. Katherine B. Sullivan and Mrs. Lena B. Carver of Fredericksburg, and six sons, Edward E. Beazley, Earl and Raymond Beasley, of Milford, Sgt. Thomas H. Beazley with the U.S. Army in Texas, Cpl Ross Harris Beasley with the U. S. Army in Japan, and C. Garnett Beasley, of Fredericksburg.
He was also survived by 24 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services were to have been held at Wheeler and Thompson Funeral Home on Wednesday, Dec. 22, 1948, with burial at Lakewood Cemetery.
