DEATH AT CONVERSE
CLARKSON W. MACY, FORMER MIAMI COUNTY AUDITOR, EXPIRES WEDNESDAY
Converse, Ind., April 3 - (Tribune Special) - Clarkson W. Macy, 79, died in Dukes Memorial Hospital, Peru, at 4:45 o'clock Wednesday afternoon of a complication of ailments.
The deceased was the son of O. H. P. and Elizabeth Macy and was born in Peru, Nov. 5, 1860.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Frank Swartz of Van Buren and Miss Goldie Macy of Converse and one brother, Franck Macy, of Converse.
Mr. Macy had lived in Converse for the past 40 years and served for eight years as auditor of Miami county.
Private funeral services will be held at the Zook and Larrison funeral home at 2 p.m. Friday, with the Rev. Robert Kendall, pastor of the Wesleyan Methodist church in charge. Burial will be in the Converse I.O.O.F. cemetery.
