Claude Frilot was born circa 1765 at New Orleans, Orleans Parish, Louisiana. He married Rosette Boutte circa 1783. See attached exhibit (Township 13, Range 8 East) for following land claim (tract 38): "38: Frilot, Claude, OB, B-1209 (PM)ASP, II, 8351811, Jul 29 - Certificate issued to Frilot, Claude. Claim founded on settlement and occupancy by Frilot, Claude. Near the canal leading to the Grand Cote. 756 sup. arpts." He died on 30 March 1834 his death was recorded at St. Martin of Tours, St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana. His succession was dated 8 Sep. 1834 at St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.
