Clay Pierre-Louis (1964 - 2006)
Brief overview:
Clay (42), Service Manager for Qatar Airways, was shot dead, by an unknown numder of hijackers, on the N1 highway, Rivonia off-ramp, on 22nd July 2006. He was allegedly looking for directions.
His friend, Kovin Naicker, who was on the phone to Clay at the time of the hijacking, heard him begging for help, and pleading with the hijackers for them to take the car and just leave him. They shot him regardless.

- Police will this week (September 2009) hold an identity parade featuring security guard Steven Masenyana Tshabalala (26), whom they arrested last week in connection with Qatar Airways employee Clay Pierre-Louis's murder next to the Rivonia Road off-ramp of the N1 in July 2006.
- Detectives hope the stranded motorist will be able to identify one of the men who shot at him on the night of June 13 2006, only minutes before Herselman was shot 300m down the road.
- On Friday, Tshabalala appeared briefly in the Randburg Magistrate's Court, charged with Pierre-Louis's murder.
