About Cleo Rogerson

Cleo Waddoups Rogerson, 91, died peacefully November 27, 1996. Born May 3, 1905, in Bountiful, Utah to Cynthia Call Waddoups and Thomas Waddoups. Married Milton Kenneth Rogerson in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, September 23, 1929. He preceded her in death on March 16, 1992. A graduated of LDS High School, she attended University of Utah and she affiliated with Alpha Chi. Her life was one of service. Through teaching, caring for the ill, and many hours shared with her children, grand-children and great-grand-children, she exemplified her compassionate nature.

Cleo was known as an exceptional cook and gardener. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and Daughters of the American Revolution. She loved her mountain cabin and the time spent there with family and friends. A devoted member of the LDS Church, her callings included, Primary President, Young Women's President, Relief Society President, and Salt Lake Temple Worker.

Survived by her three children: Ann R. Adams (O. Webster), Thomas M. Rogerson, Catherine R. Ridd (Michael), 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 3, at 1 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple. Viewing will be one hour prior to services at the Mortuary. Interment at the Oakley City Cemetery.
