QUESINBERRY, Cleveland Kyle, 91, of Hillsville, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2003 at North Carolina Baptist Hospital, Winston-Salem, N.C.

Mr. Quesinberry was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Beulah Gertrude Phibbs Quesinberry; son, John Edward Quesinberry; and stepgranddaughter, Teresa Haynes.

He is survived by his children and spouses, Bernice and James Padgett, Hillsville, Buford and Nancy Quesinberry, Woodlawn, Bertha Quesinberry, Hillsville, Rosa Mae and Samuel Fields, Hillsville, Dorothy Fleming, Collinsville, James and Judith Quesinberry, Galax, Juanita Brown, Hillsville, Louise and Reiford Harmon, Hillsville, Cleveland and Phyllis Quesinberry, Hillsville, Anita and William Haynes, Woodlawn; two sisters and brother-in-law, Effie Gowder, Summerville, S.C., Jolene and Marvin Hull, Hendersonville, N.C., two brothers, John E. Quesinberry, Hillsville, R. Randolph Quesinberry, Hillsville; close friends, Frank and Betty Daniels, Hillsville; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two stepgrandchildren.

Funeral service Friday, October 17, 2003, 1 p.m. at the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with military rites by Hillsville V.F.W. Post #1115. The Rev. Norman Goad and Rev. Bobby Rakes will officiate. Burial to follow in Quesinberry Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel, Hillsville, Va.
