Brief overview:

Clint Christians (57) was killed on April13th at his smallholding Besansklip, near Eenzaamheid, Vredenburg. Clint and his wife, Lisle, 55, arrived at their home on the small holding Besansklip on Saturday afternoon and realised their home was looted.

The window frames had been ripped out and the doors broken down. Their storage room was open, and locks broken off, and holes were made in the ceiling.

The couple went into the house to determine the damage, and then walked outside where they were confronted by two men, believed to be in their late 30's. One of the men was armed with screwdriver and the other with a panga.

Clint yelled at them to go way, after which the couple was attacked. Clint was stabbed several times in his back. Lisle sustained a wound to her shoulder blade for which she received stitches.

Some residents believe that the killers are the same as the ones who murdered Jose Camacho (77), because the modus operandi is similar. Dirk Gallowitz, a member of the farm guard in the Vredenburg area, confirmed that Clint and Jose were good friends.

According to Sergeant. Police spokesman Wesley Twigg, the results of the DNA tests may be able to shed more light on the cases.

A resident, who asked not to be mentioned in names, has already provided a description of a possible suspect to the police. It is believed to be a tall man in his late 30’s with a glass eye, who is alleged to live in settlement near the smallholding.
