Clotilda M. "Tillie" Eickhoff, age 91 of Albany, died peacefully on Saturday, November 24, 2012 while on Hospice at the Albany Area Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 27 at Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Albany with Rev. Michael Naughton, O.S.B. officiating. Entombment will be at the parish cemetery.

Friends and relatives may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Seven Dolors Gathering Area in Albany. Parish prayers will be at 4 p.m. followed by the Christian Mothers at 6 p.m. Monday evening.

Clotilda Mary Eickhoff was born August 2, 1921 in Richmond, Minnesota to Henry B. and Margaret (Schloeder) Braegelmann. She married Raymond Eickhoff May 6, 1947 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Richmond. Tillie and Ray raised seven children and farmed south of Albany for over 25 years. After retiring from farming, they lived in Cold Spring for about 13 years and were members of Jacobs Prairie Catholic Church. Recently, Tillie lived at Mother of Mercy Assisted Living Apartments and Nursing Home. Besides farming and raising her children, Tillie enjoyed gardening, sewing, quilting, playing cards and BINGO. She volunteered for several years at the Mother Seton Store in Albany.

Tillie was a member of Seven Dolors Catholic Church and the Albany Christian Mothers. She was especially loved by her children, grandchildren, other family and friends for her patience, kind heart and wonderful sense of humor.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Ray Eickhoff of Albany; children, Roger (Ruth) of St. Joseph, Jan (Leon) Schilmoeller of Cottage Grove, Ken (Kitty) of Albany, Gary (Sandy) of Richmond, Linda (Brian) Johnson of St. Joseph and Sue (Neil) Parker of Centennial, CO; 18 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Viola Nistler of St. Cloud; and sister-in-law, Valeria Braegelmann of Albany.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Judy Eickhoff; parents; brothers, Ludwig "Louie", Othmar and Martin Braegelmann; infant grandson, Joseph Schilmoeller; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Braegelmann; brother-in-law, Erwin Nistler; and recently her grandson-in-law, Jon Nelson.

The family would like to thank the medical staff at the Albany Area Hospital and Hospice as well as the Mother of Mercy Nursing Home and Assisted Living Apartments for the loving care given to our mother in the last years of her life.

Serving as casket bearers will be her children, Roger, Jan, Ken, Gary, Linda and Sue. Cross bearer will be Amazih Eickhoff and scripture bearer will be Chelsea Parker. Gift bearers will be Eric, Matt, Justin and Jason Eickhoff. Readers will be Tina Eickhoff and Sheree Schuler. Petitions will be read by Shannon Eickhoff and Holli Nelson.
