Conrad Johann Reiswig

Conrad, the son of Wilhelm Heinrich and Anna Carolina (Baumbach) Reiswig, was born on August 11, 1853 in Bellagwesch, Grunau, Jekaterinoslov, Russia. He died on August 31, 1931 in College View, Lancaster County, Nebraska.

He married Elisabeth Tebelius, the daughter of Ludwig and Maria (Kaftan) Tebelius, on October 18, 1873 in Neusatz, Crimea, Russia.

On October 28, 1874 Conrad and Elisabeth arrived in the New York Harbor on the ship Schiller with Conrad's mother, father, and brothers and sisters. They went from New York to Hutchinson County, Wittenburg North Township, South Dakota.
