Sergeant Consider Tiffany, 1703-bef. 1762

Sergeant Consider Tiffany, the second child of Ephraim and Leshia Tiffany, was born on April 28, 1703, on Block Island.

He married Naomi (Naomey/Neomey) Comstock on November 26, 1731, in Lyme where she had been born about 1708. They named their first child Consider as his father’s namesake. After Naomi died on May 29, 1743, Consider married Mary Davis, in Lyme on January 23, 1753.

A “much-mutilated” deed of July 13, 1756, identified Sergeant Consider Tiffany as the eldest son of Consider and Naomi.
