It is with heavy hearts the family announces the peaceful passing of Constance (Connie) Wilhelmina Myllyniemi on Thursday, September 27, 2012 with family by her side. Connie was a proud mother, granny, sister, niece, aunt and friend to many. She was born January 27, 1952 in Port Arthur and graduated from Hillcrest High School. She was employed as a waitress, secretary and then as a R.P.N. for Hogarth, Westmount and lastly at St. Joe's Care Group. She was predeceased by her soul mate Gary, first born son William, parents Alf and Mae Nelson, and in-laws Paul and Kathleen Myllyniemi. Survived by adoring sons Bryce (Kayla), Raymond (Jenna) and granddaughter Hayley. Sisters Bonnitta Trush, Wanda Nelson and April McCool (Pat). Brothers Sunne Nelson and Gordon Walford (Diane). Brothers-in-law Juno and Stan Myllyniemi and sister-in-law Pat Gellatley (Rick) and aunt Velma Maa, along with nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins. A special thank you to BonBon from Connie's boys. "A loving, quiet, stubborn and giving woman who will be missed by many". A Memorial Service for Connie will be held at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, corner of Farrand and River Streets, on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 11 A.M. Rev. Matthew Diegel officiating. Private interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Joe's Care Group or charity of choice would be greatly appreciated. "
