Coopoosamy Darmalingum Pather

Coopoosamy Darmalingum Pather was the husband of Salatchee and the father of Krishnan Pather, Devi, Mohamberry Pather and Ambigay Naidoo. He was the son of Thanacotty Darmalingum and Dhanam Pather. He was a school teacher by profession. His brothers were named Kandasamy ( Dan ) Pather and Nadas Pather. Dan and Nadas Pather settled and worked in the hotel trade in Cape Town. Dan Pather married Hawa ( nee Khan ) and had two boys named Lamey and Samsoodien and three daughters named Ameena, Fatima and Farida. Nadas Pather was the Chairman of the Rylands Siva Alayam in Cape Town for 15 years and was the president of Western Province Football Association for 15 years. T.D.Pather was the sister of Kavery Pather , Meenachee Pather, Veloo Pather and Veerapa.
