Cora Belle Swiger (Prunty)

Cora Belle Prunty, daughter of Nicholas and Rachel Underwood Prunty, married Henry Langford Swiger in Doddridge County on 24 Jul 1912. The marriage record indicates that she was 37 and he 44 when they married. He is buried in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Wallace.

According to her death certificate, Cora died of carcinoma of the ovary at 51 years, 1 month, 18 days of age. Another Harrison County record has the year of death as 1925.

Cora was the sister of Francis Marion and Vincent Aaron Prunty who are also buried in Center Point. Although the death records of her parents, Nicholas and Rachel, indicate they were buried in the IOOF Cemetery in Center Point, I would suspect they are actually buried in this cemetery. ---
