About Cora Cynthia Charlesworth
Cora was married to Edwin Fryer Wright. He died 4 days before Christmas, leaving her with 3 small children. She worked at a drug store for a time, then walked with her children over the mountain to Emery County, where her parents lived. Eventually she married John Thomas Charlesworth, and bore 4 more children. She worked in the coal camps, toiled on the farm, and served the Lord. At the age of 72 she was called upon to raise 2 of her grandchildren after their mother died. Cora knew and loved her numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She died at the age of 99-1/2, leaving a legacy of love, determination, and faith that will live on forever.
