Daughter of Thomas Congdon and Marietta Calista Worden, born 1 Jan 1845 near Rosses Grove, DeKalb, Illinois. She was the third wife of Alma Taylor, whom she later divorced. She also married Harry Roper. She died in February 1920 in Antelope, Bonneville, Idaho, and was buried at a cemetery in McMurtrey dry Farm east of Ririe, Idaho (Antelope, Idaho).

Cornelia was said to have 5 children by Alma Taylor, including Ida Minerva Taylor.
