Cornelia "Connie" Margaret Courtney (Ahlstrom) 1/13/21 - 3/8/04 Born in San Francisco, she graduated from Notre Dames Des Victoires high school, St. Joseph's nursing Academy and Dominican College, San Rafael. She was a 40-year career nurse in San Francisco Bay Area. She married Nels Ahlstrom in San Francisco, 1950. They lived in Alaska, San Francisco, Japan, New Jersey, Hawaii, Corte Madera and Orinda while raising their four children. She was preceded in death by husband, Nels Ahlstrom, brothers, Frank, Jim and Leonard Courtney and sister, Marion Maguire, neice, Patricia Pfeiffer, nephew, Thomas Maguire. She is survived by children, Gretchen Miller, Barry Ahlstrom, Nelson Ahlstrom and Peggy Pollard, 10 grandchildren, sister, Rose Hawkins, and niece, Mickey Lepow. Thursday March 11 viewing 6-7 p,.m., Vigil service 7-8 p.m at St. Francis of Asissi Church, 860 Oak Grove Rd., Concord. Friday, March 12, 10:30 a.m. Mass, Holy Angels Catholic Church, 107 San Pedro Rd., Colma. Burial following at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma.
