History of Cape Cod By Frederick Freeman "In 1674, Mr. ANTHONY ANNABLE died.1 "Thomas Huckins laid down three acres of land at the meetinghouse for the town's use as a burying-ground.'1 This ground is about 1 mile west of the present E. meetinghouse, and here also, was, near the ancient meetinghouse, the site selected early for Rev. Mr. Lothrop's parsonage. 1 Mr. ANNABLE came over 1623, with wife Jane and daughter Sarah. His wife died in 1643, and he married 2(1, Anne Clark March 3, 1644-5. Mr. Annable was much in public life, and many years a deputy. His children were Sarah born in England who married Henry Ewell of Seit. Nov. 22, 1638; Hannah, b. in Plymouth 1625, who married Thomas Boreman of Be. March 10, 1644-5; Susannah born about 1630, who married William Hatch jr. of Seit. May 13, 1652; a daughter 1635 d. infant; Deborah 1637; Samuel 1646; Ezekiel 1649 died young; Desire 1653, who married John Barker Esq. Jan. 18, 167G-7. SAMUEL married Mehitable Allyn, daughter of Thomas, June 1, 1667, and died 1678. His widow married Cornelius Briggs of Seit May 6, 1663. Samuel had Samuel July 14, 1669; Hannah 1672 d. infant; John July 19, 1673; Annie March 4, 1675-6, who married Deacon John Barker Oct. 14, 1696. SAMUEL, b. 1669, married Patience Dogget Ap. 11, 1695, and had Desire Jan. 3,1695 ; Anna Sept. 27, 1697, who married Nathanel Bacon Aug. 19, 1720; Jane Dec. 24, 1699, who married Deacon Robert Davis Oct. 8, 1719; Samuel January 14, 1702; Patience May 15, 1705, who married Joseph Bacon 1722 ; Thomas June 21, 1708, who married Ann Gorham Aug. 7, 1740. He died June 21 1744; his widow died Oct. 11, 1760, aged 90. JOHN, b. 1673, married Experience Taylor, daughter of Edward, June 16, 1692, and had Samuel Sept. 3, 1693; Mehitable Sept. 28, 1695, who married Andrew Hallet July 23, 1713; John Ap. 1697 died infant; John May 3, 1698, who set in Rochester; Mary 1701, who married David Hallet Aug. 19, 1720; Cornelius Nov. 3, 1704, and Abigail Ap. 30, 1710, who married Walley Crocker Oct. 22, 1730."
