Cornelius Connor was brought from England by Richard Goodale as his servant. Richard Goodale is said to have come to Newbury in 1638 and went to reside in Salisbury, Essex County in 1639, Cornelius married Sarah Brown(e) about 1658. She was a milk maid for Robert Pike, also of Salisbury. On April 1, 1663 Cornelius bought 10 acres of Salisbury upland from Richard Goodale.
