About Corp. Noah Alexander Guymon
Noah Guymon served in the Union Army during the American Civil War. He entered service on 15 Aug 1861 and mustered into Company A, 31st Illinois Infantry Regiment on 18 September 1861 in Cairo, IL with the rank of Corporal. He was transferred to the Invalid Corps on 27 Oct 1863. In the Invalid Corps, Noah Guymon served in the 97th Company, 2nd Battalion Veteran Reserve Corps and Company A, 4th Veteran Reserve Corps.
