About Cotee Brunson
Toccoa “Cotee” Breedin Brunson, 89, widow of James Henning Brunson, died Thursday, September 16, 2004, in an Orangeburg nursing home.
Born July 23, 1915, in Manning, she was a daughter of the late Clarence Renneker Breedin and Toccoa Spencer Breedin. She was employed by Brunson’s Pharmacy for many years, and was a member of the Presbyterian Church at Manning.
Surviving are one son, Dr. James Henning Brunson, Jr. and wife, Millie, of Orangeburg; a granddaughter, Catherine B. Ayers and husband, Kenneth, of Irmo; a grandson, James Henning Brunson and wife, Natalie, of Atlanta, GA; and two great-grandsons, Walker and Thomas Ayers. She was preceded in death by a sister, Hattie Breedin; and three brothers, Spencer Breedin, Clarence R. Breedin, Jr., and Alfred H. Breedin, Sr.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the Presbyterian Church at Manning. The Rev. Dr. William J. Holmes will officiate. Burial will follow in the Manning Cemetery.
