Craddock Gober enlisted on 12 September 1812 during the War of 1812 for a six month's term as a Corporal in Capt. Zachariah Lea's Company of Infantry from the Mississippi Territory commanded by Col. Ferdinand J. Claiborne and reenlisted as a private under Capt. Henry Dunn's Company of the Mississippi Militia 17 Sep 1813 to 14 Jan 1814.
