I remember Uncle Crawford fondly. He was always nice. Never heard a loud or angry voice out of him. :) I remember he seemed so tall to me, not skinny and not fat, I remember (solid) tall and solid like a strong tree. :) I remember him smiling and talking, with what seemed like a deep gravely voice, a strong steady voice. :) I liked Uncle Crawford very much.
My dad said that he was to old to join in the war, www1, but that he worked for the government making weapons.
