About Creed Haskins
From Rootsweb discussion on YADKIN COUNTY and CASWELL COUNTY

Creed Haskins [3522.4.5.4.5] inherited a 390-acre plantation in Chesterfield County. Creed lived alone since he was head of a household of one white and 21 blacks in Chesterfield County in 1783. Yet he apparently had two illegitimate daughters by Phoebe (Cheatham) Rudd. See their family
Creed died in Chesterfield County (will dated 1790 ). In his will he mentioned first daughters he had by Phoebe. Creed left property to “sons of my deceased brother E. Haskins.” He then left a riding horse to his brother John and appointed brother Thomas Haskins and his won, William, executors. Creed had written a will dated 17 May 1787 that Littlebury Moseley, guardian to Creed Haskins Jr., presented, but the court accepted the 1790-will. Possibly Creed Jr. was another son of Creed, omitted in the second will.
