D'Angelo Corleo's Timeline

Corleone, Palermo, Sicily, Italy
By 1618, Giovanna was nearly twenty-three years old and was the mother of three children. She was proud of her children and was delighted when she discovered she was pregnant in August 1618. Filippo, not giving up in being in his wife's good graces, decided to allow her to visit her parents for awhile. Giovanna was happy to see her family again, but her visit was filled with trouble, as her mother, Isabella became ill in October. She was filled with worry since she was very close to her mother. Using mother's failing health as a way to get close to her, Filippo managed to comfort her throughout her pregnancy. On March 10, 1619, Giovanna gave birth to a healthy baby boy, who she promptly named D'Angelo, after her father, since her son was born on his fifty-first birthday. |
