Dagmar Allentoft

Dagmar gave birth to 12 children. They all lived and had great success in life. Many of them became entertainers

Dagmar took singing lessons and sang for us grandchildren in order to make us go to sleep. She also was the lead singer at our Christmas celebrations. We danced around the tree to the sound of her voice. She had a wonderful soprano voice.

My grandmother had very dark brown hair. She was very proud of the color of her hair, since that would make her stand out in a sea of blond Scandinavians.

She always made sure that her make up was perfect and that her finger and toe nails was painted. One of her daughters, aunt Margit had a ladies' haidresser and cosmetic salon, so that was a good help.

Dagmar looked like she was cut out of a fashion magazine til the day she passed to the other world.

My grandmother's children are: Ejnar, Harald, Troels, Arne and Erik. They were her sons.

Her daughters were: Grete, Margit, Edith, Ingrid, Elisabeth ( Lis), Ellen and Kette.

I miss you Momme and all the wonderful parties we had with the entire family.
