Baby girl Schwab died Approximately. age3-5. She became ill on a wagon train Coming to the mid west. Her mother Bertha preserved her doll that was given to the child for the trip by her father. Bertha also made a pillow for the Doll out of the "pillow" that was Baby girl Schwab used. She gave it to me before I married her grandson " Don Schwab" She made me promise that it would stay in the family. I put it in a glass case and passed it down to my Daughter Deborah Schwab Heath. She also has a daughter and when she marries, she'll receive the doll. Two weeks after giving me the Doll, Bertha died. (she also made me promise that I wouldn't give it to any other family member. She was afraid they would sell it.)
