MEMORIAL PHOTOS 2 FLOWERS 1 PLYMOUTH: Dakota (Kidd) Layne, 79 of Plymouth, died Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Jackson Madison County Hospital, Jackson, TN. She was born January 21, 1933 in Drift, KY to the late Andrew and Alice (Mitchell) Kidd. Mrs. Layne was formerly married to Samuel Layne of Willard. Mrs. Layne was retired from Pioneer Rubber of Willard and a member of the Church of Christ in Plymouth and enjoyed crocheting, sewing and gardening.

Mrs. Layne is survived by two daughters: Yvonne Shaffer and her friend Wayne Banke or Nashville, TN and Blinda (Don) Terry of Willard; three grandchildren: Melissa Terry of Willard, Tommy Shaffer and Samantha Ross, both of Mansfield; three great grandchildren: Makayla, Sydney and Christian; brother: Jackson Kidd of Norwalk; and two sisters: Lorraine Bryan of New London and Lorabell Kidd of Galion. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters: Betty Ruth and Clora Justin.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, May 21, 2012 at the Lindsey-Kocher Funeral Service, 323 Myrtle Ave., Willard, OH. Burial will be at the Maple Grove Cemetery, New Haven. Friends may call Sunday 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
