Grand Island (Nebraska) Independent Monday, 25 November 1935

Mrs. D. W. Hovey, 123 East First street (Grand Island), and her son, Glenn W. Hovey, of Santa Monica, Cal., returned Sunday to Grand Island from Cedar Rapids (sic), Iowa, where they had accompanied the body of their husband and father, "Uncle Dan" Hovey, for funeral services which were held last Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. Hovey will continue to reside in Grand Island and her son plans to return to Santa Monica where his is engaged in Y.M.C.A. work.
