Daniel was the son of Nicholas CADY (1627-1685) and Judith KNAPP (1629-1668). Daniel married Mary GREEN (1661-1736) on July 6, 1683, in Middlesex County, Massachusetts.

i. Mary Green was born in Cambridge, Middlesex, MA 21 May 1661. Mary died 11 April 1736 in Canterbury, Windham, CT, at 74 years of age. She married Daniel Cady 6 July 1683 in Groton, Middlesex, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of William Green and Mary Crispe.
