Daniel Chandler

DANIEL CHANDLER Married Lucy F. Shedd of Hardwick, Vt. Removed to Menasha, Wis. She was b. 24 June, 1808, dau. of Abijah Shedd who was born at Pepperell, Mass 22 Nov, 1779 by his wife Catherine Goss who was b. in Hollis, NH 11 Oct., 1782 dau, of Maj. John Goss by his wife Catherine Conant.

He was appointed justice of the peace but did not qualify. Farmer.

He died 6 Feb., 1879.

The children of Daniel and Lucy F. Shedd/ Chandler were:

1. Catherine Eliza, b. at Hardwick 15 Aug., 1831; m. 20 May, 1856, John Franklin Joslyn; no issue; Menasha. Wis.
2. David Farley, b. 24 March, 1833; m. 27 Oct., 1857, Maria Carter
3. Harvey Nelson, b. 9 June, 1836; m. 17 Oct., 1861, Sarah Ann Clark, who was b. 29 Oct., 1840, dau. of Thomas Jefferson Clark and Lucy, dau. of Peter Clark, who m. 1803, Lucy Clark. Their infant died 28 Jan, 1867. Farmer at Hardwick.
4. Henry Albert, b. 30 May, 1844; d. 15 July, 1858.
