Daniel was one of the proprietors "of the common and undivided land in the township of Rumford" formerly Penacock (now Concord, NH), where he settled before 1 Mar 1733 and died before 16 Mar 1775 (day will was proved). He was one of the guard in the garrison around Timothy Walker's house in 1746. He was one of Captain Joseph Eastman's company, and in Colonel Joseph Blanchard's regiment which was raised for the expedition against Crown Point.
