Daniel was born about 1826. He was the son of Mastin Christian & Jane McKenster

His brother died as part of the 34th VA Cav. Batt. Co. C... Perhaps he did as well?

She married (1) Daniel Christian August 20, 1850, son of Mastin Christian.

She married (2) Wallace "Wall" Hatfield abt. 1862. This was a common law union with the brother of Devil Ance Hatfield, about 2-3 years before the feud began with the murder of Ellison Hatfield. According to Cecil Cline, "Wall and Sally had four children. In the 1860 Logan Countycensus, she is married to Daniel Christian.

i. Margaret "Maggie" Christian, born abt. 1851. She married _______ Ferrell.

ii. Nancy Christian, born February 1853.

iii. Ruth Christian, born November 6, 1856. She married (1) Jacob McCoy, January 4, 1880; she married (2) Andrew Ferrell abt. 1894. According to Cecil Cline, "Jacob was a brother of bud McCoy who married Ruth's sister, Nancy. Andrew and Ruth are listed in the 1910 Pike Co. KY census.

iv. Moses Christian, born December 25, 1859.

v. Vicey Christian, born abt. 1863.

vi.Rebecca Christian, born abt. 1865. She married Anderson Mounts.

vii. Amanda Christian, born abt. 1868.

viii. Octavia Christian. She married Jesse Mounts.
