Daniel DelTufo

Daniel DelTufo, 84, of Oceanport died on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2008, at Clara Maas Medical Center, Belleville. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Saturday at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. Entombment will follow at Woodbine Mausoleum, Oceanport. Condolences may be emailed to fiorefh@aol.com and will be received by the family. Born in Newark, Mr. DelTufo lived in Belleville before moving to Oceanport. He owned DelTufo Realty in Belleville, retiring 30 years ago. Mr. DelTufo was an Army veteran of World War II. He served on the Zoning Board and as president of the Rent Control Board of Belleville. Mr. DelTufo was predeceased by his parents, Michael and Grace DelTufo, and a sister, Josephine Ringi. Surviving are his wife, Rose Iacullo DelTufo; four daughters, Carol DelTufo, Barbara DelTufo, Janet DeFilippis and Diane Magliato; three sisters, Rose Pignatore, Jeanette Orsini and Grace Napolitano; two brothers, Leslie DelTufo and Dr. Michael DelTufo, and eight grandchildren, Eugene, Lisa, Natalie, Heather, Danielle, Nicholas, Angelica and Joelle. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Clara Maas Medical Center Foundation for Oncology Services, 1 Clara Maas Dr., Belleville, N.J. 07109.
