Daniel M. Frakes

Daniel M. Frakes, 41, of Bethlehem died Saturday, May 17, in St. Luke's Hospital.

He was a bartender for Lehigh Vally restaurants for 20 years until last September.

Born in Bellefonte, Centre County, he was a son of James R. and Doris J. (Yingling) Frakes of Bethlehem.

He attended Boston and Pennsylvania State universities.

Survivors: Parents; daughter, Julia Devon of Clarks Summit, Lackawanna County, and a brother, Jonathan S. of Beverly Hills, Calif.

Memorial services: Private. No calling hours. Arrangements, Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem.

Contributions: Cancer Care Discretionary Fund of St. Luke's Hospital or American Cancer Society, Allentown.
