Article from "The Talihina American" dated Nov. 27, 1974 page 2 - Thomas Daniel Lawson, 41, Talihina, died November 21 in a McAlester Hospital. Daniel was born and raised in Talihina and was a Construction Worker. He is survived by his wife, Ann, owner and operator of Ann's Beauty Shop and one daughter, Kay Ann, a Junior in Talihina High School and part time operator in the Beauty Shop - three sisters; Mae Bell Morgan of Talihina, Betty Bessie and Christine Dyer, both of Midwest City, two brothers; Harlan Lawson and Edward E. Lawson, both of Talihina and his mother, Mrs. Laura Lawson of Talihina. Services were Saturday, Nov. 23 at 2 p.m. in the First United Methodist church in Talihina. Burial was in the Talihina Cemetery with the Rev. Forrest Wicks and the Rev. Luke Story officiating.
