Daniel McHugh married C/Katherine O'Rourke, the step-daughter of his older sister, Mary McHugh O'Rourke. As a result of that marriage: -C/Katherine's father, John O'Rourke, who was already Daniel's brother-in-law, also became his father-in-law. -Mary was C/Katherine's step-mother, and also became C/Katherine's sister-in-law. -Mary & John's children were already C/Katherine's half-siblings. When Katherine married her step-mother's younger brother, Daniel, all of Katherine's half-siblings also became her nieces and nephews.
