Last rites for Dan McQueen, about 69, farmer who had resided for more than 30 years in the Talpa-Valera territory, are to be held this afternoon at the family home near Talpa.
Dan McQueen was born August 6, 1867, in Brazos County, Texas, and moved to Valera in 1905.
He died March 3, 1937, at two o'clock p.m. of pneumonia.
He was a member of the Christian Church.
Survivors includes, his widow,
two brothers, John McQueen of Fisk Private and Ed McQueen of Grapeland Edgar Eugene McQueen; and
two sisters, Mrs. W. H. Crenshaw of Dripping Springs and Mrs. P.A. Nealey of Voss.
Funeral arrangements were made by the Mead Furniture and Undertaking Company of Coleman.
