About Daniel Raymond
Genealogies of the Raymond Families of New England, 1650-1 to 1886, compiled by Samuel Raymond and published in 1886, at page 134 reports a Daniel Raymond who emigrated from Beverly, Mass to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia in 1772. He married Rebecca Crosby and had at least ten children. He died at Yarmouth of smallpox in 1795.
The Raymond Genealogies indicates that this is not the same Daniel Raymond, born March 18, 1744 at Lexington, Massachusetts. Does anyone have a source to the contrary, particularly in view of the different birth dates?
