Daniel Smith and Elizabeth Rogers were married about 1642 in Watertown, Mass.


SMITH, Abraham, Cambridge, resident in 1646; bought land at Charlestown, next to Camb. in 1651. Alice, ae. 40, with John ae. 13 came in the Planter, April 10 1635 cert. from Sidbury, England.

Alice widow, d. apparently in Boston; admin. of her estate was gr. 14 (8) 1663, to her kinsman Joseph Bayley and two of her sons, Samuel and Abraham Smith. Daniel of Watertown, calls Abraham Bro. (The Pioneers of Massachusetts p. 418)

His will is dated July 14, 1660, the day he died. Mentions wife Elizabeth, son Daniel, a brother Abraham. To Abigail Sherman, he gave one lamb. (Abigial was sister to Elizabeth Porter and married to Capt John Sherman.
