Capt. Daniel White was born 1706 in St Peters St Paul, King Queen, Virginia, USA, and died 20 Dec 1790 in St Marks Parrish, Culpepper, Virginia, USA. He married . He was the son of Col. John White and Mary Elizabeth "Betsy" Elbert.

16 Aug 1737 Orange Co VA Deed Book 2, p.110-14. Robert Holderness and his wife Michal of Caroline Co sold 400 acres to Daniel White of King & Queen County. Daniel White traded them 100 acres, being "the plantation whereon Daniel White doth now dwell in King & Queen County".

Daniel White was on the list of Tithables for 1739 in Orange County - next to William Pratt. Many records from both Caroline and King & Queen Counties have been lost (Courthouse burned during Civil War). [King & Queen and Caroline Counties were adjacent - in fact Caroline was formed from King & Queen in 1728.]

Deed Book A, Page 109 This Indenture between Champness Terry of Louisa County, planter of the one part and Daniel White of Orange County planter of the other part, in that Chapman Terry for and in consideration of the sum of five shillings of good lawful money of England, to him in hand paid by said Daniel White at and before this [E/Tusoaling] and delivery of these presents, the receipt of which the said Champness Terry both own and acknowledge and from every part and parcel thereof both ...... exonerate and discharge this Daniel White his heirs, executors, Administrators, and assigns, have bargained and sold and do by these presents bargain [ .....?] unto said Daniel White his heirs, executors, Administrators, and assigns, grantor____ of land lying and being situate in this county of Louisa on the Brambles of Pamunkey River containing 300 acres and is bounded as followeth: Beginning at a pine corner to William Bibb by the side of a small branch running ____? south slightly four degrees, east one hundred and eighty two poles to a pine on the east side of a branch _____ north 35 degrees east three hundred and thirty eight poles to three pines ......

25 Sep 1746 Daniel White of St. Thomas Parish, Orange Co., sold 400 acres sold 400 acres to Thomas Burgess [note: record missing, reconstructed from sale by Thos. Burgess to his son Timothy in 1760 that describes original transaction.

1749 - Culpeper county formed from Orange Co. Whatever land Daniel bought after the transaction with Thos. Burgess was likely in this portion of Orange.
